I haven't looked, but if someone hasn't posted a picture of themselves standing by their pansexual partner or friend, I'm going to be very disappointed.

I know nothing about baseball, but fortunately I'm following two people who are part of the fandom.

It seems to be going well!

Ah. The dulcet sounds of the winter's eve smoke alarms throughout the complex waking up to running the heat for the first time for too chilly evenings after stubbornly wearing thick socks and robes to prevent the coming of higher electricity bills.

Just call it an unscheduled test. cc: @cpsc.gov

I'm kind of in love with this form of escapism right now. The first electric car? Earlier than you think. A tiny fiat bus? Worth every contortion used to enter. A STEAM POWERED fire truck? I mean, c'mon.

Clocks in future episodes? *hopeful look*
Come along, as I host a travel series STOP THE CAR! We’ll explore antiquities and oddities by stopping the car when we find hidden museums on road trips . To see progress, clips & episodes, visit the official website: stopthecartv.com , visit the YouTube channel: YouTube.com/@stopthecartv

I just started watching this show and am in fucking love.

This is the exact escape I've needed.

Thanks for causing a scene, Elon and Co!
It's probably going to be a very odd day

Female gaze or male gaze aside (which as an asexual nonbinary person is just...baffling in every way possible), this is more of an obsession with body size gaze and, tbh, gendering our cultural body dysmorphia triggers seems the least of our issues.

(Get it? That was a magazine joke.)
Left: Hugh Jackman in the male gaze
Right: Hugh Jackman in the female gaze

i mean like literally. one's a muscle mag for lads & the other is GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, for god's sake

Also, deepest apologies for reposting this and probably messing up the 666 repost count it was at. I dunno, I just really loved that juxtaposition.

My reminder that Christianity ❌= bad. Christians can love trans, queer, minority, and disabled people and want them to thrive in equity because it is not only rational to do so, but compassionate. Society is responsible for mangling Christianity because power is king over integrity and kindness.

Shit.

I think I'm just a shit-posting account replying to the @cpsc.gov on this site.

Damn, I really do go for niche identities online, huh?

Anyway. I like clocks and do art but also poke the Consumer Product Safety Committee social media account because escapism but also safety!

I like it when I'm a part of something.

I like it when I'm a part of something that encourages the social media account for U.S. Consumer Product Safety to explain the anatomy of a sentient hot dog.

*don't leave your food unattended when grilling to prevent fires

#ExoBuns #SymbioticDogBun
In regards to hot dog sentience, the bun acts as the exoskeleton with the consciousness in the meat itself. It's the pairing of the two that creates the complete sentient hot dog. This was the first thing they taught us at America orientation. Not sure how so many of you missed that.

Amiright?!

Pssh!

Anyyywho.
This is going to be really difficult as we are not a real person.

Everything is too much.

I would like to cultivate more balance on my timeline. Even in the "Quiet Posters" filter, I am getting overwhelmed.

Does anyone have any recommendations on who to follow for escapism to mix with my brutal, raw reality accounts?

Maybe someone can help me with my ignorance.

So, we're at the 3.5% of people who dissent against the current leadership that can realistically overthrow a dictator.

What's next? What do the steps after having the right amount of people look like? What does it look like to put this in action?
June 15, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Upped my "I'll just do it myself" skills by doing it myself and not calling spotty apartment maintenance.

Bought (more) cardigans.

Started growing a mustache.

More puns.

Had lower back pain.

"Music these days..."

Nearly killed myself on a ladder.

Loved my younger friends and cats fiercely.
Once again it is Father’s Day, which means it’s time to share the most Dad* thing you did in the last year. As is custom, I will go first:

Watching YouTube videos for small repair jobs around the house has turned into watching YouTube videos for large repair jobs I cannot and should not attempt.

Governor Walz has recommended that we cancel No Kings events across Minnesota because the individual who assassinated a Democratic lawmaker is still at large. For the safety of all involved, we are cancelling events across the state that are not already underway.
Out of an abundance of caution my Department of Public Safety is recommending that people do not attend any political rallies today in Minnesota until the suspect is apprehended.
