There's a weird thing where:
1/ Defending trans people seems to be a fad in a very small echo-chamber
and
2/ Trans people are under attack in terms of large scale discourse that most people see
So like, even if it seems bandwagoning and shallow, trans rights are human rights. They just are.

I really enjoyed Fables right up until the point where, seemingly out of the blue, it was like: btw, Israel is great, especially when it's militarily beligerent.

I feel like, once upon a time, I could have failed on my merits. I just wouldn't have been good enough. It's galling to live in a time when I'm being out-competed by people whose only talent is behaving like an attention-seeking cunt.

What you can do, when a piece of art is good, is say: "cool, I like that". What you don't have to do is turn it into a terrible movie, or even an alright movie. You can just enjoy it for what it is and not adapt it into any other medium. I can't emphasise this enough: things don't need to be adapted

Far more than electric cars, we need more electric buses, trams and trains. There's one good argument for electric cars, and it's people with disabilities that prevent them using even the most accessible public transport - the very group who can't access charge points in the UK.
