The Greasy Thumb

Some Guy. Some kind of neurodivergent. Somewhat qualified to philosophise. Named after a gangster accountant for reasons thast don't matter. Pronouns he/him. Nouns genius/fool. Adjectives harmless/frustrating.
Mental decline was a significant advantage for Biden's campaign, because it made him act less like pre-mental-decline Joe Biden. Creepy, spaced-out child sniffer isn't a great image but it's better than 'literally the guy who invented civil asset forfeiture'.

Ah. I'm happy for all those who celebrate.

Did someone sucker punch Wes streeting?
November 18, 2025 at 9:48 PM
The problem is neoliberalism is out of fuel. There's nothing left to sell. Streeting will squeeze a few bucks out of the remains of the NHS; then we're done. Blairism was never an option for Starmer's lot, so they're trying right wing politics with a veneer of Blairesque rhetoric, aka Cameronism.

"Unless we act, we risk losing popular consent for having an asylum system at all".

Heaven forefend they take a principled stance and challenge anti-asylum rhetoric. No, it must be treated as a force of nature that must be placated. It's not *them* who are racists, you see. It's those poors.

Things people like can't be woke. 'Woke' has to imply bad, so if something is generally thought of as good it has to be recuperated.

Makes sense from the point of view of social reproduction, and gives the lie to the idea that right wing politics is about freedom. No, you cannot be whatever you want. You must fill your role.
November 14, 2025 at 11:05 PM
OK, I realise this is the point, but... what?
November 11, 2025 at 9:21 PM
I was going to say "no-one really thinks he's calling the shots, do they?" and then I realised that a lot of people are libs and I felt a bit sad.
November 11, 2025 at 9:19 PM
So like, I kind of maybe want to say I like you, but like, do you have nice things I can borrow? I will probably give them back. I feel we're forming a connection. Maybe.

'left vs right' discourse often treats the groups' respective ideas like they exist in a vacuum rather than emerging from assymetric material realities - which makes sense as a right wing strategy but is bizarre coming from the left given the time leftists devote to to pointing out said realities.

Surely just a microcosm of how everything is bad? Most people are lovely. People with power are usually cunts, due to three main causal factors: 1. Power makes you a cunt. 2. Cunts are sometimes able to get power by virtue of being cunts. 3. Cunts are narcissists who recognise and promote their own.

The worst thing is, they're not. Reform are the Tories' problem. Labour votes are more often lost to Lib Dems, Greens and apathy

The obsession with Reform doubles down on the triangulation that gave Labour a 1-seat majority in every constituency, and avoids acknowledging the need to court the left

Is that not a bot account in every respect? I've seen a lot of versions of that bio. Cooking is my passion; food is my jizz. Being an 'ideas guy' is my heart; a Rick and Morty themed first person shooter is my genius. Supply-side economics is my calling; Ayn Rand is my waifu.
