Another example of university managements weaponising dignity at work rules to silence critique of the rulers by the serfs. Something my colleagues and I have experienced here too.
The University’s HR department has informed us that should we provide comment to journalists covering the personal decisions of the Vice Chancellor there ‘will be no alternative’ but to review as a potential breach of the anti-bullying Dignity at Work policy.

The far-right radicalization of young men (and almost exclusively young men) is a global phenomenon, and no one has any good idea of what to do about it.

Yes. German media is not taking this seriously enough. Please, let’s stop with the nonsense of “dealing successfully with its past”. Two nights ago I walked past a huge far-right political advert in the middle of Berlin, whose text contained the verb “kämpfen” (to struggle) - a nod to “Mein Kampf”.

My strongest opinion on exercise is that you should find an active thing that you enjoy doing rather than searching for an optimal workout, because you're infinitely more likely to keep doing an activity you enjoy than one you don't

Once a pig-butchering operation is convinced you're onto the scam, they pass your info to the people down the hall who are running the scam recovery scam to reach out to you on social media. You, being stung, will try to verify they're real, so there's another part of the scam: the tout, or vouch.
