It's ironic that the Wikipedia page on Plato sings him praises and doesn't mention his most ridiculous views... For example, his geocentric model, or his belief that a woman's uterus floats around her body, causing hysteria until she makes babies. I guess philosophy fanboys are a bit embarrassed. 🙃

Back when, Bill Mantlo had a habit of occasionally plagiarizing stuff in comics, under the impression that it was fine because everyone did it. But he made the mistake of plagiarizing an Ellison story in HULK, and the shit hit the fan, because Harlan actually read it.

Last night, #Reddit added "Uncle Tom" to its list of phrases that automatically get your comment deleted. I found out the hard way after posting about Uncle Tom's Cabin, the book. (It doesn't account for that third word...) Just another instance of outsourcing common sense to machines. 🙃

I finally found a ton of Legos at a thrift store! :) Unfortunately, they were all separated into ziplocs and priced pretty high... On the upside, that $25 bought me hours of fun as I identify all the minifigures and try to reassemble the broken sets. :)

The only gender reveal I've liked was one that the grandparents put together where the expecting parents open the box and a bunch of red and yellow and white and green balloons came out, literally no pink or blue, and the grandparents were laughing hysterically while the parents looked SUPER pissed
