One of my favorite Douglas Adams quotes:

“All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others.”

More timely today than ever, don't you think? 💙

📌"Papers with U.S. State Department markings, found Friday morning in an Alaskan hotel, revealed previously undisclosed and potentially sensitive details about the Aug. 15 meetings between President Trump and Russian President Putin in Anchorage."

📌I mean, holy shit. They can ALWAYS be stupider.
Government papers found in an Alaskan hotel reveal new details of Trump-Putin summit
Documents with sensitive details about the meeting between President Trump and Russian President Putin were left behind on a public hotel printer.

Starfleet Command manages to be somewhat functional because conflicting interests between Romulan spies, brain parasites, changelings, evil clones and mirror universe counterparts all easily infiltrating the highest echelons end up ensuring checks and balances

Recently saw Nosferatu. Beautifully filmed, but a few things took me out of the film:
(1.) Nitpick: opening title card should’ve read Hanover or Prussia, not Germany.
(2.) Audience giggling every time a character said, “He’s coming.”
(3.) Willem Dafoe sounded like Mel Brooks in Spaceballs.

Forgotten? I guess I forgot to forget her. Dammit, Jim, I hate it when I miss staff meetings...
I'm sorry... How is Lily Sloane FORGOTTEN from First Contact when she is one of the literal people that helped blind Trekkies everywhere realize how flawed of a character Jean-Luc Picard truly is!?

New, from me: Elon Musk, a man who runs an imaginary government department, accused a real government employee of having a fake job.
He is wrong about this, and other claims about what he can do to eliminate regulations and cut spending. 🧵

Lol. One week after the Economist published this chart showing the dude can't stop tweeting in the middle of the night, Elon removes time stamps from tweets.

pretty grim when health insurance company executives have to try to hide their identities online like they're public school history teachers, government employees or doctors who care for transgender people

Teach a man to fish, he'll contribute to the global overdepletion of the ocean.
So give him a salad, maybe.
