Consuming mainly screen media then trying to reply in prose leaves one floundering w/ unfamiliar tools. Reading empowers reciprocal creation

As a big fan of Roseanna's writing, I highly recommend this thread on what she included in her voter packet. I also highly recommend her blog, and her writing on ARB, NoaF and SH. She is one of the people I turn to for thoughts on new and classic SFF, and whose taste I trust immensely.
