An anti-democratic (with a small “d”) Supreme Court ruling means that Texans will vote in the 2026 midterms using a map that a trial court found had been aggressively redrawn to target the seats of five Black and Latino members of Congress.
The Supreme Court Messes with Texas’s Voting Map
The ruling leaves Texans voting using a racially discriminatory congressional map in 2026.

White men are 30% of the US and if they look around the room and see it’s less than 90% white men they think it’s affirmative action.
85% of CEOs are white men.

All but one US President has been a white man.

65% of all elected offices are held by white men.

Roughly 30% of the population is white men.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS TOPIC EVEN???

It is 1,000,000,000,000,000+ times more distinctive than that piece of tin shit awarded by that fucking soccer disorganization.

Since the president's involvement with the Kennedy Center, ticket sales have plummeted, as the center continues to struggle to meet the sales from 2024. In fact, ticket subscriptions are down 36%, adding up to a loss of $1.6 million,

The Kennedy Center was created by a federal law two months after President John Kennedy’s assassination. It was designated as a living memorial to President Kennedy given his devotion to the advancement of the performing arts. Today Trump just renamed the Kennedy Center after himself.

Good list. @joyannreid.bsky.social was the first person who confidently told me that Trump would win the primary and that he could win the general too. She did not use the phrase "economic anxiety" in that conversation.
we @liberalcurrents.com did crowd source a list of commentators - of all stripes - who called trump a fascist/ predicted the worst early

happy to expand that/ make additions (& i think the people i supposedly excluded are already in there)

January 6 was like a much dumber version of Hitler’s Beer Hall Putsch and yet a plurality of American voters were like, Yeah, let’s give that guy the nuke codes again. An absolutely world historical debacle of societal ignorance. I’ll never understand it.

Jan 6 was basically the Beer Hall Putz. But in any normal world, Jan 6 would have been not just the end of him, but the end of the Republican party. But Trump somehow dumbstruck enough people that not even the consequences for those who participated stuck once they voted him in a 2nd time.

Insane.

Also see Meghan Kelly's recent similar remarks. But more interestingly, it sounds like Marla Maples should be subpoenaed to say why she would be warning people not to let their young daughters near these men "especially my husband."
Hey remember when Richard Hanania said this wasn't pedophilia because being under-18 isn't the same as being a child? How about 14? Because if you've seen a 14-year-old, there's no question that that's a child.
These are the people who are willing to go on the record.
