I'm trying to come up with advice for our local shelter to expand their social media reach. So I'm looking at a lot of online tips and many of them seem really bad and... phony? Like, I basically just want to tell them to post nice/fun photos and videos, post often, and post with sincerity and joy.

Regarding moderation on social media: it is my sincere belief that blocking is morally neutral! It’s not mean or abusive. It’s not an attack. It can be, at worst, mildly rude, roughly on par with hanging up on a telemarketer.

That 1.2% increase alone is more growth than the UK, Germany, and Canada have seen, and is almost on par with France (1.5%)

i think most of this is dead on arrival, of course, but i also think this is a great maximalist start to thinking of court reform AND some of this stuff, especially the large expansion of the circuit and district courts, is absolutely feasible in the next four years.
