New #Carmageddon #RogueShift is good enough ya'll, and I don't usually go for rouge-x games but it works here. Get the Hawk ASAP, switch to missiles when you're able, unlock all the permanent upgrades first and have some dumb fun.

back before the internet we had to go to a computer show and grub through bins of homemade copies of "shareware" games, icon sets, homebrew apps, etc. and always, ALWAYS for sale at multiple tables was "CIA WORLD FACTBOOK 19XX"
The CIA just stopped publishing their World Factbook and took every page, including the archived copies of previous versions!
This sucks. It was public domain, so I recovered the 2020 edition (the last one published as a zip file) and shared it to GitHub simonwillison.net/2026/Feb/5/t...
