Going to take a few days off — just found out that two people that were important to me growing up passed within days of each other. Need to put myself back in a better headspace before hopping back online. Have a good week, all.

Just found out more people are quitting in the next few weeks — guess they’ll be asking us to grab more shifts, but that just means more pay to watch more creators in the slow periods while I’m on the clock…

Honestly, me too.

Tried to help someone that needed help at work and, long story short, may have caused bigger problems than I solved.

Upside: may get to check out more content and links more often.

Downside: may have to look for a new gig.

Given how the world is right now, feels like it could go either way.

Walked into a dangerous situation that was improperly coded at the end of my shift and only got a weak apology after the fact, which sucked. At least I could look at some of the creators I follow as stress relief as I made my way home.

Dear God — just logged on and found one of my former bosses trying to follow me on here. Immediately blocked them off into the sun. Did she really think I wanted her to invade my feed, especially since I don’t work for her anymore? Wow…

Kinda miss my old account on the bird site, but can’t deal with how horrible it’s become. Ah well, looking forward to a more pleasant experience here — it certainly doesn’t seem as judgmental here, which is great! Now if we can keep the elimination of crappy ads…
