I was talking to my mom yesterday, and she said she is a "nationalist", believes the US is a Christian nation, and thinks God should be taught in schools. She then proceeds to tell me how the Christian Nationalist trying to take over a town outside Nashville is so radical, and my brain can't process

He's shaken by people pointing out that our media shows more sympathy for anxious suburban moms and their unease with pronouns than trans suicide rates, healthcare being stripped, and trans people's ability to exist in public (like, use the bathroom) being restricted.
Americans are losing the right to exercise state power to restrict the fundamental human rights of a tiny minority of marginalized people without being criticized for that online, and Jeremy Fucking Peters is on it.
