For the young people who are new to politics & cannot believe how committed billionaire media has been to mass producing a 24-7 stream of negative headlines about the NY mayoral candidate pushing for free buses — let me remind you that this is a well-practiced strategy, it’s not random. It’s a plan.

Over the last year, I’ve been warning about Luxon’s pitch to privatise our public assets. He had told reporters in Oct nothing was off the cards: Schools, hospitals, prisons, and even NZ’s critical lifeline water assets. For some reason, those headlines never made it out to the news outlets.

I love Tāmaki Makaurau.

Which is why I'm excited to be running for the Waitematā Local Board in this year's local election with @cityvision.bsky.social.

I’m in it for more housing, better transport, and a greener city.

I hope you'll join me, to shape our city so that everyone thrives.

Don't believe Shane Jones recent lies that more mining, more oil drilling, more emissions will make New Zealanders richer.

Here's him in 2008 about how costly it will be for the New Zealand public if carbon emissions aren't slowed.

Now, to be fair, the Treasury paper focused on using fiscal policy to cope with shocks. But, they rambled on for pages without spotting the obvious. When Govt pump rescue money into the economy, what happens? Rich folks get rich! So, windfall tax the huge private surplus you have created ffs! [Ends]

I'll end with an old favourite cos it illustrates how our 'growth' from the mid-80s to 2009 was driven almost entirely by liberalised banks pumping credit into our economy. Champers and oysters all round. That pile of private debt now sits round the neck of our economy like a millstone. [Ends]

Is Brian Tamaki triggered by something? His reaction to a bunch of people being themselves and celebrating is weird. If he wants to “man up” do what real men do - show compassion respect and love with strength and determination. Not engage in violence and hate against weak, vulnerable and young.

They are a cult who sent angry men into a building full of kids just wanting to hear a fun story from a fun looking person.

They are the ones who are harming young people not the rainbow community.

Let us live our lives in peace
Please note there is an active petition on Parliament’s website to remove Destiny Church’s charitable status. It was started last year and closes Feb 28th – great timing! Go sign. And write to your MP. petitions.parliament.nz/a22e0d59-7da...

(Anyone who says this kid isn't a kiwi is simply. The law is wrong too. It needs to be changed. It is indecent)
📢 Daman Kumar was born in Auckland, and he’s never left the country. He’s just finished school, and wants to go to university - but soon, he could be deported.
