It's really hard to enjoy entertainment when you know you're going to find out in 2 weeks that everyone who worked on it was laid off a month ago and is now unemployed.

Bluesky keeps turning into my Hot Take springboard, but: I've been thinking about this feeling of inauthenticity being flung at the video game/pop culture industry recently. Particularly how, imo, the source of that frustration keeps on completely missing the mark --to everyone's detriment.
