Frog put the cookies in a box. “There,” he said. “Now we will not eat any more cookies.”

“But we can open the box,” said Toad.

“That is true,” said Frog.

I got to be part of something like this at a Super Bowl when I was in high school.
The first human giant flag in World Series history.

Very cool

I went and read a bit more about this today. I hate the look of AI mixed with a password manager that people depend on, especially when you shouldn't have to be technical to use it and understand what it's doing with your private information.

Volunteered at the library book sale last week and managed not to come home with any new books, so victory, I guess? Did acquire some impressive bruises from moving boxes.

Really enjoyed this!
Oliver Darkshire's Isabella Nagg and the Pot of Basil is a delightful, Pratchett-esque story brimming with footnotes and satire, and inspired by one character in Boccaccio’s The Decameron. Read @vfarmstrong.com's review!

Just finished The River Has Roots, weekend fiction is Back After This by Linda Holmes, nonfiction is Black in Blues by Imani Perry.
If you see this, quote it with what you're reading this weekend!

I'm finishing up Poul Anderson's The Broken Sword (history/saga-type storytelling is catnip for me), and excited to crack open Amal el-Mohtar's The River Has Roots next.

Dropped off my ballot today. My original ballot got lost in the mail, so I had to pick up a replacement, but that let me get one of the kid-designed stickers instead of the plain default ones.
