Dropped off my ballot today. My original ballot got lost in the mail, so I had to pick up a replacement, but that let me get one of the kid-designed stickers instead of the plain default ones.

A morning walk, with a sand dune and a deer. After getting over the dune the first time to see the ocean, I was not entirely happy about climbing it again. In the end I think I managed to leave most of the sand at the park rather than bringing it home with me.

Had no idea my morning walk would include a filming site. The point to the left apparently played Maine in the Disney film Pete’s Dragon.

Had coffee and muffins at Spooner’s Cove this morning. When this was a ranch, the cliffs had a chute for sending cargo down to waiting ships. When I went on a docent-led hike once, they said that that cargo sometimes included live pigs.
