really wild that her thesis is that the only lesson of the Holocaust is the horrors of antisemitism and she not just dismisses the idea of sympathy towards Palestinians through that lens but also sympathy towards Black people oppressed by police

it was genuinely a miracle that they could get TWO HOURS AND FORTY MINUTES (the entire length of what Wicked should reasonably be) out of just Act 1 and end up with something solid, and that's mostly owing to Act 1 being the more interesting and fun. Part 2 being worse was inevitable.
me who has actually seen all of Wicked and knew that all the famous bits are in Act 1: how could they NOT have expected it
