How was Max able to stay right on Carlos's gearbox like that with a break caliper stuck closed? The RB-20 can run like that even with 25% breaking? How is that even possible?

The aliens won't show themselves because they see we still do genocide and that's not something they can allow to run loose in the Milky Way. At some point, they may determine we are a lost cause and send another rock like they did to the dinosaurs. Maybe the dolphins will do better.
