I was browsing around the Stellarium online sky map and when I zoomed in on Vega I saw this. Anyone have any idea what that big faded image could be?

The aliens won't show themselves because they see we still do genocide and that's not something they can allow to run loose in the Milky Way. At some point, they may determine we are a lost cause and send another rock like they did to the dinosaurs. Maybe the dolphins will do better.

This species found on Espanola Island is also known as the Christmas iguana because they sport green and red markings during mating season in December. It's a vestigial trail left over from their Central American tree iguana ancestry.

In the meantime, here's some sea lions hanging out on a deck built especially for them at Al Mar restaurant. No humans allowed in that roped off section.
