In 2021 in England, public health decided that the way to get well was to get sicker, and that the way to get rid of disease was to catch it.
It's official policy.
They write it down and everything.

Since then...

One possibility re Trump tariffs that I don't think has been given enough consideration is that other leaders may decide that he's weak and easily bamboozled — and may be right (something already suggested by his behavior the first time) . 1/

The producer of the infected #H5N1 retail milk says they've had bulk raw milk tested since April. That primary safety layer failed and now the secondary layer at retail failed. Maybe we need to ask serious questions about testing vs banning an unsafe food product?

Folks, yes, it's a Canadian COVID Forecast weekend.

But, we're late because I was still tinkering with the model until last night.

For the next month or so we'll post on Twitter, then post pdf of that thread here.

The risk of Long Covid increases with each infection.

Awful year for whooping cough. Important:

1) Vaccination during (every!) pregnancy helps drastically reduce risk of infant developing serious disease

2) Vaccination for infant on schedule

3) Vaccination of those around infant. Protects individuals from serious disease & reduces transmission risk
Pertussis in infants is terrifying but it’s not just the cough.

It’s the fact that babies literally STOP BREATHING.

~2/3 of infants hospitalized have apnea (life threatening pauses in breathing)

Vaccination starts at 2 mo so it’s important EVERYONE is immunized to protect our littlest ones.
