It's going to be so amazing being alive in 2026 because the front page will say "BREAKING Mamdani Received Free Cheese Pizza From a Local Vendor, Calls to Resign Mount" and then on page 3 you'll see "Hegseth's Pentagon Rape Dungeon Raises Legal Questions."

I may be wrong, but I think there already is a regional development fund, similar to the one the Nats want. BUT, it is managed by Infrastructure Australia, and the Nats want one they can use to pork barrel whenever they want.

A Labor majority plus a bad result for the Greens = a seriously bad outcome for climate / environment #ausvotes25

Progress? Why does Labor's "climate action" look like this:

⚠️48,000 km2 opened for offshore Oil & Gas exploration
⚠️Sea Dumping Bill that'll enable high-risk CCS
⚠️ #FutureGasStrategy to 2050 & beyond
⚠️30 🤯 NEW Coal & Gas projects approved
⚠️$15B in fossil fuel subsidies for 2024-2025
In 2022, the Australian people voted to finally act on climate change

After three years of progress- in 2025 they said keep going.

I would hope Liberal Candidate for Kooyong, Amelia Hamer would withdraw her candidacy in disgrace.

It’s OK for her to have investment properties, it’s not OK to base her campaign on a lie of being a struggling renter wanting to get into the property market.

Very ‘Liberal Party’ but not OK

This is Woodside’s Burrup Hub. Woodside is planning to expand it to produce more than 6 billion tonnes of CO2 by 2070. That’s more annual emissions than 35 coal-fired power stations. Fossil fuel expansion in 2023 is nothing short of an atrocity. That’s why we choose nonviolent disruption. Join us!

We are about to enter one of the most horrible phases in the Australian News cycle: a federal election campaign.

Piss-poor storytelling; regurgitating talking points; little-to-no analysis or holding politicians to account.
