Every retailer in America should display the original price of an item along with the new tariffed price.

Let it sink in for the slowest in the herd.

Tariffs are a tax.

You're paying for them.

Just in NIH grants, It looks like beautiful Iowa City, home of the U of Iowa, will lose $71m in funding. That's almost $1k per resident. And that's before all the other cuts to SSA, FDA, etc.

Anyone in Iowa City that can offer more insight?

Announcing tariffs causes the market to tank and pausing them causes the market to rally. What can we learn from this? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Answer: The Trump grifting machine knows it can move the market, buy long, sell short, and grift from it. Who' going to stop them? The SEC, FBI, or DOJ? Ha!

Just an FYI: Medicaid fraud is rarely perpetrated by beneficiaries. The fraudsters are almost always the doctors and CEO's that administer Medicaid. For example: when a doctor charges the government $600 for an $8 breast pump and pockets the cash and the third party administrator takes a cut.

There appear to be at least three separately operating heel factions breaking things within the government in wholly different ways right now. There's the Miller-headed immigration one, the DOGE/Elon one, and a Project 2025 OMB one. This dynamic hasn't showed up in mainstream reporting at all.

Once they normalize breaking the rules to go after people who are not citizens of this country, their next phase will be to go after people who are "not the right kind of citizens".

By then it will be too late to stop them.

Don't let them normalize any of it.
