Shut us down for good reason.

Open back up without any of those reasons having been fixed.

You want us to have confidence in you?

You want us to think YOU can lead US?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s good to have a chance to be back.. but our pain produced nothing in return.

Australia has so much clean energy they're literally giving it away. Meanwhile, GOP is in all-out war to stamp out solar

Australian households to get free electricity three hours a day
Saying there is enough solar power for everyone in the daytime, the federal government will direct retailers to provide three hours of free power every day to consumers.

Today we learned that in June the US economy lost jobs for the first time since 2020. We haven’t seen this kind of net job loss since - well, since the last time Trump was in charge.

As Trump attacks unions and occupies our city, we’re called to remember how we got here.

Labor Day would not exist without the workers who fought and died at the Haymarket Massacre and the Pullman Strike in Chicago.

It’s not a coincidence he’s targeting Chicago:

I cannot overstate just how awful this stupid fucking bill proposal is

- adding backdoors into encryption on OS level
- "sniff" every single message before it gets encrypted AND SAVE IT CENTRALLY
- let a goddamn hallucinating "AI" mark people as criminals

it needs to be stopped, post haste

Why do you appreciate unions?

I’ll start:

Weekends off
Paid vacations
Work breaks
Sick leave
Paid holidays
No child labor
Safer working conditions
Health care and retirement benefits

This was announced as 150 million people across the country were under heat alerts.

Fossil fuel interests spent nearly $100 million on Trump's re-election. Then the industry pumped $19 million into his inaugural fund.

They're cashing in at the expense of the rest of us.
EPA moves to end climate regulation under Clean Air Act
The agency proposal would rescind the landmark “endangerment finding,” which states that greenhouse gases are a threat to public health.

Americans’ electricity bills are predicted to rise by as much as 18% over the next decade, thanks to cuts to clean energy production in Trump’s big, ugly bill.

Red states are likely to see the biggest increases.

Gen z can we please learn how to use a computer, and I don’t mean just using chrome I mean truly know how your computer works. The only reason big tech companies make as much money as they do and get away with what they do is because most people just don’t know how computers work

You know what will change your life? The realization that white-collar Americans saying "cities are dangerous" actually means "I am made personally uncomfortable by the diversity that cities confront me with," a sentiment that doesn't have to meet the threshold of any empirical data whatsoever

This is a risk in field work: people don't want to admit they're having difficulty with heat or elevation, because they worry it makes them look bad.

Check in on each other: hydration, breaks, shade. And foster a culture where speaking up is expected, because it's important for EVERYONE'S safety.
Hey, one of the things you learn when you get certified to teach exercise class is that this isn't true. People who are in great shape can also suffer from heat exhaustion and stroke, and you have to be more careful of it because the symptoms can be harder to spot until it's too late.

If you have an iPhone and you hit the lock button five times the phone can only be unlocked with the numeric code or password. Touch/Face ID won’t work. Cops can get your face or fingerprint but they can’t compel you to put in a code. Saying this for no reason at all. Talking into the wind.
