I am experiencing severe pain in my pinky and directly below my pinky in my palm (I blame intensely knitting socks on tiny needles for months) and now I can't knit, I can't play video games, I have lost my beloved hobbies 😭. Except for reading. I guess I'll read. And make a doctor's appt.

I now read everything asking myself, "Was this AI assisted?" Cause too many articles have that feel. Like, "Just got a little help from the nonsense machine." Just enough to make it stink.

I have this problem! And I'm not an early bird, and I have to clock a certain number of hours in my workday, so if I write first thing during my normal waking hours, I'll be working late into the night to make my pay...

My brain is complete mush right now from overwork and I haven't written anything in...almost a year and I'm pretty bummed about it.
The biggest enabler for creativity is stability. I wish that was made more central to the creative narrative. Figure out what your specific needs are to limit stressors and enable "boring" time and work to achieve that as hard as you're practicing your art.

Elon’s Twitter reminds me of the H.G. Wells story, “The Pearl of Love.” A prince wants to honor his wife with a gorgeous mausoleum and adds more and more crap until he decides the only way to make the mausoleum truly beautiful is to throw out his wife’s coffin and body.
