I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

The gun people say Americans need guns to defend against a tyrannical government. A guy with a legal gun shows up to confront a government acting tyrannical, and the government shoots him dead because he had a gun. Make it make sense.

The only motion Dan Hawkins has is when he is working against the will of Kansans, he would sooner force republicans to agree to disenfranchise their constituents than earn the vote by serving the communities they represent. This represents the rot and corruption in our state government. #ksleg

As an independent in Kansas I really expected more from the Democratic party in terms of cohesion. The Dems that decided to throw this one, I hope are held accountable by the party. Excise them. They are not on the same page and the party should not have been held hostage in such a way.
