Probably a bad sign to be in NW Illinois and going inside to cool off after moving band equipment on November 14th, right?

So we are going to bring forth a world where anyone who wants to be a lone wolf is welcome to walk into the woods without a single damn thing a global community made for him, and perish howling at the moon.

The rest of us will live in a society.

I love Neil Young because he'll make a song where he mumbles "Got mashed potatoes/Ain't got no T-Bone" over three chords for 9 straight minutes and then insist you listen to it on the most high-resolution audiophile equipment possible. Happy 80th, king.

Fun and loud weekend in Iowa City and Davenport. Des Moines this Friday with our pals Sungrave from Denver.

Have wrapped up the first two shows out of three with our pals in Sungrave, who also took this video of us at Trumpet Blossom in Iowa City.

Also the first time performing live with the me having the cymbals to play, it is very fun having them.

Aseethe set up as a three-piece.

One of the bands I'm in, Aseethe, became a drum-less three-piece at the end of last year. Since then, we've worked on some collaborations and improv-ed with a couple drummers.
Now, we'll have some cymbals and pads on stage with us to tinker with, which we're excited about.

I feel like we have the opportunity to turn David Lynch's quote into this moment's "Keep Calm and Carry On" and it's a far better rallying cry too.

I did this last year and it ruled. Highly recommend joining in.

No matter how hard people try to convince us having empathy is wrong,

it is right.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness,

it is a strength.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited,

it is unlimited.

I don't know what will happen in NYC tonight, but I do know that regardless of outcome, any number of public figures, celebrities, politicians and institutions that oppose Mamdani have done so with a level of rhetorical ugliness, racism, and dishonesty that should neither be forgotten nor forgiven.

Elected Democrats spending more time today praising Dick Cheney than Zohran Mamdani is a great case study in abject fucking moral failure.

Why I think it's time for some Governors to come up with a plan to decide whether or not constituents and businesses in state should continue paying federal taxes.

We may not be able to physically stop Musk, but we have a legal argument that we already paid for shit we are not getting.

Chicago street vendors are being targeted by ICE & Border Patrol agents. As a result, many are staying home and not able to work. Preorder and $8 per shirt will go towards the Street Vendors Association of Chicago who offer financial assistance to vendors who stay home.

American law, it seems to me, exists to create a condition of constant titillation for people whose material needs are never unmet, but whose appetites have been teased into a state of ungovernable sadism by sloganeering & advertising that promises a return to a world that never existed & never will
