In this moment, we need Democrats to fight for more than a return to the status quo. We need to build a country where all families can thrive - not just billionaires.

So today, I'm laying out my priorities - I hope you'll visit my website and learn more: peggyflanagan.com/priorities/

The polls are officially open, Minneapolis!

Today you can choose a different course for our city. You can choose a mayor who cares as much about your city and your neighbors as I know you do.

We deserve better, Minneapolis. Rank me first when you vote today so we can do better – together.

I’m raising money for Groveland Emergency Food Shelf, a South Minneapolis nonprofit that provides emergency groceries for those in need. They’re currently struggling to keep up with demand, and they’re getting their first $16k in donations matched.

I’ve got $50 on it! Can anyone match me?

So proud to be a part of this film.
Artfully combining modern and archival footage, dramatic readings from George Orwell’s diary, and interviews, Raoul Peck’s ORWELL: 2+2=5 is “a vital film,” raves The Hollywood Reporter

A fulsome and eerie portrait of modern literature’s greatest oracle. Now playing!

ICE agents turn out to have a real problem with telling the truth. Their attempted prosecutions of protestors keep falling apart every day in federal court in Chicago, when video tapes are reviewed showing that their claims about what happened are, quite simply, shameless lies.

It’s very much Not Great to have GOP leadership describe a planned non violent march as being in service a the “terrorist wing”
Emmer: "This is about one thing and one thing alone -- to score political points with the terrorist wing of their party, which is set to hold a hate America rally in DC next week."

Curious to see if @startribune.com will cover Emmer calling peaceful protestors (and Democrats) terrorists, or nah
The House Majority Whip is also insisting that a peaceful "No Kings" demonstration is in fact a "hate America rally" held for the "terrorist wing" of the Democratic Party.

Really feels like they're trying to manifest a violent reaction to it.
