Hi
Have I been scammed into handing over a photo of my UK passport picture page to apparently the NHS login service? They now want a video of my face . I’ve taken a beat here as feel this can’t be right . Help if you can

The SNP should hijack Trump’s trip to Scotland and make it all about independence

Make indy great again? Why Swinney should hijack Trump’s visit
John Swinney needs a Hail Mary shot. His administration is weak and anaemic. It’s bereft of ideas and energy. That’s what happens when you hold…

Pure and utter Fascism
REPORTER: Is the idea that if some illegal immigrants escapes, they get eaten by an alligator or a snake?

TRUMP: I guess that's the concept. This is not a nice business. I guess that's the concept.

This is really bad reporting from the Guardian, putting misinformation into the public domain

There has been no racial far-right rioting in Scotland, as in England and Northern Ireland

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Delighted that the Scottish Languages Bill was just passed by Parliament!

It means more support for Gaelic and Scots, the chance for parents to ask for Gaelic schools in their area, and a big step in keeping our national languages alive and growing.

I don’t think more liberal - more left in terms of socially democratic with a large amount of socialists
This is very good news. By and large, Scots are more liberal than other parts of the UK.

Absolutely spot-on analysis of the recent HLS by-election from @ballotbox.scot . I’ve previously made the same point about the SNP> UKL > RUK drift of many disillusioned and footloose voters. In my view a refocus on the positives of independence is needed to get them back.
As last week's by election begins to disappear into the rear-view mirror, one last plug for my full analysis of the result and what it means... which is not much, it's simply re-confirmed polling, and if anything is going to shift the dial for next May it won't be this. ballotbox.scot/result-hls/
By-Election Result: Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse
Everyone wanted this by-election to be a dramatic turning point for the 2026 election. Under the hood though, all we got was confirmation current polling is pretty much accurate.

What a weird situation: support for Scottish independence consistently over 50% and growing, and an independence party that seemingly doesn’t want to campaign for it. Bizarre.

The 2026 Holyrood election may be the most important since devolution.

No matter your view on independence, voting for pro-Union parties in Holyrood 2026 risks losing much of what Scotland has achieved.

Scotland can’t afford to go backwards.

Most of all, make sure you vote - and vote wisely.

It’s what he doesn’t say that is relevant. 1) will he or Flynn be leader ? 2) will HR 26 be a de facto 3) will Flynn stand as FM designate ? 4) SNP 1 yes but could there be a yes alliance for the list vote?
