Trump's anti-market economic worldview on display. He believes that spending money is a sign of weakness. This is the same logic as his claim that last week that the precipitous decline in shipping volumes at the country's ports is "a good thing, not a bad thing," because "we lose less money."/1

There's a reason the White House didn't reveal the text of the "agreement" when making their big press splash announcing their agreement: It's a cup of tea without the bag.
