Statement on the EHRC ‘guidance’.

The EHRC ‘guidance’ put out at 10pm last night is a bigoted attempt to segregate trans people in public spaces. It is almost certainly unlawful.

My granddaughter is trans and she’s the most amazing person 😍
If you don't understand why your gay and trans friends are scared right now...

You don't have gay friends... you may know gay or trans people, but you're no friend to them.

Yesterday the Supreme Court said (having refused to hear from any trans people): "this interpretation would not be disadvantageous to or remove protection from trans people with or without a GRC."

Today. Trans women - and gender non conforming cis women - are now going to be 'frisked' by men.

Something I don't understand with the supreme court ruling in the UK. They do know that it's not just trans women they're affecting it's also trans men, they would legally need to enter women's bathrooms. And when we do I hope we make cis women feel super comfortable.

We need you to stand up and speak out, now! Trans rights are vital and we need everyone to work together to protect them.
Allies: we need your support more than ever before.

We know that many people are feeling shocked and angry following yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling and are looking for ways to get involved and support the trans community.
