Eg. Finnish society (from which I hail), is quite different from American/British society. I share skin color, but not sociocultural background with most "Whites" in English-speaking online spaces. Also, English is my 2nd language and trust me, being "fluent" is not same as being native speaker! 3/

I got my dear family member's button collection. I've always kept every single button I get. Doesn't everyone? 😀
It's a great cosmic joke that neurodivergence both runs in families and gets diagnosed based on parent reports. I was diagnosed at 30 because a man who has eaten potatoes every day for 57 years and a woman who collects loose buttons decided I was a perfectly normal child.

I am gutted to learn of @sfdirewolf.bsky.social (Alice Wong’s) passing. She was always a warm friend, a wonderful spirit, and someone who fostered my own growth. She helped me see that, as a #disabled person with chronic illness, I matter—I am whole. I’ll be posting some of Alice’s work. ❤️ forever

I can't wear hoodies without a zip. They're a sensory annoyance. The hood weighs and pulls the shirt back a little, I'm always having to pull the shirt down by the collar. And the hood is on the way when I wear a jacket + scarf.
