What if we as authors/actors/culture creators just--collectively decided that the NYT is no longer the paper of record? Stopped submitting books for review? Stopped giving interviews? Stopped using their pull quotes on our dust jackets and in our advertising? Stopped submitting op-eds?

It’s so backwards to think “if human nature is to be selfish then I guess we have to lean into that.” First off no it’s not human nature to be a piece of shit, capitalism has trained people to be like that. Second, even if it is human nature then you have to create a system that discourages greed.
