i dont talk about chainsaw man these days because im in learn to sit back and observe mode but this chapter feels like another example of fujimoto being as openly literal with the storytelling as possible with what is going on but readers are missing it because of reaction shock value 😭

i feel like all the dialogue in the latest chapters has been fujimoto using the characters to sort of spell out themes to the audience through lots of exposition. i guess we'll see

war isn't glory, it's rot and disease and hunger and pain and hatred and grief and hopelessness and ruin and fear, if listening to other people talking about it anything to go by. it's dehumanization on an incomprehensible scale, and you can't do it to someone else without also doing it to yourself
anybody who wants war hasn't talked to enough people or read enough first-hand accounts from people who were there, civilian or military. the only reason you think war is heroic or meaningful or noble is because convincing people of that is the only way we could ever get anybody to DO war

instead of vowing to take itch down with your justified anger, redirect that anger at the institutions who are directly responsible for strong arming every single platform that sells adult and/or queer art:
Maybe we could find out.

Mastercard (US): 1-800-627-8372
Mastercard (Int.): +1-636-722-7111
Visa (US + Can): 1 800 847 2911
Visa (AUS): 1 800 125 440
PayPal: +44-0203-901-7000
Collective Shout, the group that took credit for bullying Mastercard into recently censoring more platforms, stated that apparently it took them ~1000 phonecalls to convince them to give them what they wanted?

We got like way more people than that don't we?

As a related note: if you start in with the "no kink at pride" nonsense this year, I will block you instantly.

No "but the kids" bullshit. No "I don't consent to seeing" bullshit.

Shut the fuck up and keep your whining to yourself. The cishets aren't going to pick you.
You know, Pride Month is one of those things that a lot of people have sort of taken for granted lately, but I feel like next month is going to be the sort of wild, unhinged Pride Month that we really need.

A lot of people have forgotten our roots, and we're being forced to remember.

they made being killed by technofascism seem so exciting in the 90s. sleek chrome androids crushing skulls. what it actually looks like is a bunch of extras from The Office who have been pavlovian-condition'd by a website to call you slurs if you stand between them and a vending machine for blowjobs

there is simply no amount of child death that will move RFK to change his mind because he is a predatory narcissist who cares less about health than the gratification of his own ego
Astonishing RFK Jr interview with NBC. At 23.30 he claims pharmaceuticals are the 3rd leading cause of death in the US [wtf]. He discloses the name & medical history of the 2nd child to die of measles, implies she wasn't healthy & argues about her cause of death. @gorskon.bsky.social
Key takeaways from RFK Jr.'s interview on measles vaccine, food dyes, weight loss drugs and more
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke with CBS News in an exclusive interview. Here are some highlights.

One thing I think we really need to drill down on is that these cynical weaponizations of the rhetoric of combating antisemitism and sexual violence *are themselves* antisemitic and misogynist: they mock the suffering and desire for justice of people who have experienced these.
The obscenity (and the menace to Jews) of these officials pretending any of this police state assault on our constitutional order has anything to do with concern about antisemitism is off the charts. Just diabolical.

Effective immediately, the government says it will begin screening immigrant social media for activity that officials think indicates support for antisemitism.

i may be unserious, hysterical and woke, but my strategy of “taking trump seriously no matter how insane he sounds” has paid more analytical dividends than the alternatives
Think part of the problem with describing Trump seriously is that no one actually seems to actually ever take his entire ideological outlook seriously, so absurdist means tend be be more effective at evoking political affect
