The whole governing philosophy of the United States right now is "try and stop us." Turns out not many people can do that, because the level of malfeasance completely overwhelms the enforcement mechanisms, which are rooted in a presumption of good faith, a presumption which turns out to be wrong.

The thing about slurs is, if you use one (like the r-word), that means that you don't think everyone is equally deserving of dignity, which means you think that there are lines between who deserves dignity and who doesn't, and you can't really be surprised when other people draw different lines.

Well before social media became a place for video, Streets Dept (started in 2011) was documenting the art of Philly’s public space with photography. So, as Spooky Season 🎃 nears, I thought it’d be fun to throwback to Kid Hazo’s “Gr-‘IT’-ty.” Installed in 2018 at Front and Bainbridge Streets!

Children’s health defense just sent out an email that Cheryl Hines, RFK’s wife, is speaking at their upcoming anti-vax conference. She kept herself pretty carefully separated from this stuff for years but I guess not anymore. Dave Weldon will also appear, whose CDC nom was withdrawn in March
