I think for about 30% of the country, if they were president , they would go along with any covert operation no matter how illegal or idiotic just to be like "wow this like a movie". That 30 percent happens to be made up of Trump's base and everyone in who works in cable news

Knives out are movies with a use case – you’re locked in a living room with your entire family and you need to pick something that everyone will like. Sounds like a dig, but there’s magic in a dinner at Hillstone
I have a lot of respect for the Knives Out movies just as an exercise in people making solid B+ level entertainment where everyone seems to be enjoying the experience without it needing it to win Oscar’s or make 3 billion dollars. It’s like going to a good steakhouse.

Half the amount that everyone currently pays could provide universal healthcare. Private health companies don’t need to exist. Eliminate them. And use your collective buying power and economies of scale to get it done. Every cent of their profit is healthcare denied.

This is how it should work, the revolving door should be dem cities and dem admins. There should be a cross pollination between what works at the city state/level and the federal level. Not going from the Obama admin to Uber

I think most Democrats think they are voting for someone like Zohran, they assume the party is the party that would replace it. There were polls during the primary where most voters thought Biden wanted Medicare for All. The rot is at the top, much easer to lop off the top than move an entire base.
