The Trump shit video is basically this, but I will reiterate that if a Dem is critical of conservative voters it’s a generational scandal and when Republican pols literally post themselves shitting on their opposition virtually the entire elite politics and media class treats it as fine and normal

It is entirely possible to be respectful about the death of a person you disagreed with without “honoring” him by vowing to continue his disagreeable, hateful “work.”
The best way to honor Charlie's memory is to continue his work: engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse. In a democracy, ideas are tested through words and good-faith debate — never through violence.

When ICE found out he’s a U.S. citizen, they let him go—without giving an explanation or apology—but the damage was already done.

This has to be the single uncompromising demand from the Democratic base and activist class: prosecutions and consequences. Democrats may talk a big game, but many WILL try to wiggle their way out of it if they are returned to power. But there cannot be any loss of resolve on this.
the truth is dems can probably sit back and have great ‘26 and ‘28 by doing nothing and promising nothing but without investigating and prosecuting these monsters we will never recover from whats happening
