This entirely makes sense. #ReformUK is a party run by and for the moneyed elites, so of course the universities of the moneyed elites see them as allies. Which they will be in HE policy - Reform would love to shut down all of the #universities that help social mobility and which embrace diversity.

Germany has never quite given up on its addiction to fascists in uniform.
During the Berlin protest today, police used force against a peaceful demonstrator supporting Gaza. The arrest occurred as participants gathered to voice their opposition to the ongoing Israeli genocide on Gaza and to call for justice for Palestinians.

To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.
