I'm apologizing to my new followers in advance.
I have a friend who had a hip replacement in his 60s, his husband has apparently had both done.

This feels like peak infantilisation of the elderly.
What exactly is ‘disgraceful’ about giving the elderly/infirm practical advice about how to be physically intimate in a safe way? They aren’t children. Their innocent eyes don’t need to be protected. Plus it’s medical guidance not a jazz mag

I know why it doesn't but I wish there was better linux support for snapdragon processors since things seem to be going that way.

For the record he should resign not just from leadership but from the Senate itself.
He won't but should.

Oh so Schumer has lost the party but is still it's leader.
weirdly honest messaging from the breakaway mod/institutionalist leaders who blew up the party strategy
they're explicitly giving up. "It wasn't working so we quit" that's the message

Even if it passed in the Senate (won't) the house won't have a vote so you get nothing
Angus King: "This initial strategy didn't work. And now we have one. We're gonna have a guaranteed vote on the ACA, and it may not succeed. I grant that. But a reasonable chance -- 10, 20, 30% -- is a lot better than 0% which is where we were."

Ok today is the day. Let's talk about the 50th anniversary of something that changed America forever and still reverberates through history today.
I'm talking about the release of Patti Smith's album Horses.

You know, the health insurance companies also want the subsidies so I'm really not sure what the Senate is doing for whom

Schumer is going to be remembered as a fucking failure because he is
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis
For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare
We will keep fighting

I wonder which ai gave him those dosing instructions
Over on X, the weird life extension guy just did a heroic dose of magic mushrooms (5g), and someone is live tweeting it for him.
Clearly someone misguided him along the way, though, because he seems to be under the impression he’s peaked after just one hour.
Bad news for you, buddy…

This is one of the most important lessons adults actually learn as we grow up (& hopefully wiser). It applies to everything.
Just because you think you know best or have an unassailable point... doesn't mean that people agree or will do what you think they should.
Just because you think you know best or have an unassailable point... doesn't mean that people agree or will do what you think they should.
And I know it can be comforting in challenging times to say “if everyone did X the way I wanted them to, it would have worked out.” But that’s simply not how people work.
We need to be better about processing our hurt and discomfort and not belittling other people for not knowing better.
