A friend of mine is mad that I keep saying that the only way out is through. But that is broadly applicable in teh sense that situations rarely resolve themselves with no action and also specifically applicable in that nobody is going to come save america from itself.

I see the "how will we enforce the laws if we abolish ice?" thing is being trotted out and three things:
1. Ice isn't old enough to rent a car
2. How did we enforce them before ice, isn't that an option?
3. Should we even be enforcing these laws?

I've seen more people driving, walking, just standing around today than the last two days combined. Minneapolis definitely has eyes out.

Seems like ICE is very active in that area today and after my next meeting I am going to drive over to the Y and work out.

I am slightly impressed by my coworker (in another state) who hadn't heard anything about whats going on. I am not sure how you can manage that but it is impressive.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey should run for Governor of Minnesota. He gets it. He speaks the truth. And he clearly does not give a shit about how his words poll in real time. Minnesota deserves leaders who lead, not ones who focus group their courage. Jacob Frey is one of them.
