This is not financial advice. But Asus just announced that they will be producing consumer aimed RAM and Graphics Cards to fill in the vacuum left by micron and Nvidia. Asus stock has already grown by 144% in two years. Probably worth getting them in your portfolio for 2026.

I'm super happy with my bi-weekly D&D game and my players, but damn I feel like I need a weekly ttrpg game to keep my seasonal depression in check, and I have so many different games and settings for games that I haven't been able play.

Everytime I learn of a new piece of horror found within the Epstein Files, I whisper to myself "What would Gary Plauché do?"

The world may be spiralling downward, but as some kind of fateful consolation two poster children for white nationalism and toxic masculinity got their jaws jacked and shit rocked by confident young black men.

Wow, if I had a nickel for every time a dice roll decided that I had to add an obnoxious, foul mouthed, and good hearted raccoon as an animal companion into a dnd campaign, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

Probably the best tip or trick or whatever you want to call it that I've added to my ttrpg games is throwing out world building prompts to my players. I give them a couple paragraphs describing a location as a baseline and then ask them to add in any ideas they might have.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

I love companies being punished for replacing workers with AI. Gimme more
Duolingo announced it was going “AI-first” just over six months ago. Since then its stock is down 64%.

This kind of dataset is a clear indicator that propaganda plays a big role in people's political positions and acting like people are unshiftable is just completely detached from reality
Republicans increasingly oppose requiring healthy kids to get MMR vaccines to attend public schools
2016 19%
2019 20%
2023 42%
2025 47%

I've been teaching for a decade. Admittedly its teenagers, but the sweetest, kindest kids i teach almost universally have some life-altering trauma, illness, family issues etc. and they still show up daily with smiles and kindness. They keep me tethered to humanity after reading what our leaders do.

Last night was the first time I have run a serious D&D session in years, and damn it felt good, even though the session was an exploration of the root of all of the characters psychological trauma. I'm very excited to see the many different directions and depths that this story will go.

Y'know that Guardian article which cited an anonymous friend of Tyler Robinson claiming he was the only "leftist" in his family?

It just got updated after the "verified source" decided he couldn't remember his "relationship" with the accused shooter well enough to be quoted

I am having a hard time reconciling "Charlie Kirk was a fierce advocate of open dialogue and free expression" with "we must identify and persecute everyone who is insufficiently mournful"
After Charlie Kirk's death, teachers and professors nationwide fired or disciplined over social media posts
At least a dozen faculty and staff have faced fallout over insensitive comments online.

A bill that would require tech giants like Google and Facebook to compensate newsrooms for the local journalism on their platforms is advancing in Oregon.

Meta is already threatening to ban Oregon news on its platforms if the bill becomes law.

I don't know exactly why but "a Federal program to teach women when they're ovulating" feels like someone trying to make their fetish into the law, and given how the GOP is made up of men with the wildest PornHub search history you've ever seen I think I'm likely right.
