But the biggest indication is the way the ICE thugs react after the shots. They don't try to arrest him or secure the gun, they either back away or run away. They immediately knew it was a crime and tried to distance themselves.

FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.

Turns out that incorrectly telling the American people that masked goons have absolute immunity to do whatever they want to them is not a particularly popular position.

As you evaluate this from Kristi Noem, remember that when a federal agent shot a woman in Chicago last year, DHS's initial version of events was full of lies that fell apart under subsequent scrutiny:
