I am terribly sorry that I can't pass all of the purity tests thrown at me on this app.

I wonder if there is a soda out there made with coffee, that tastes like good coffee and nothing but good coffee, not sweet- but just fizzy enough to make it soa, without being "up the nose" fizzy?

Why do smoke detector batteries always die in the middle of the night? And why isn't that annoying chirp in the basement waking anyone else up who can actually reach the damn thing to change it? (Me, alone on a stepladder with my balance issues, without a spotter- not a great idea.)

So, the plumber who came to replace our pressure relief valve told us that out house water pressure was 105 psi.
105 psi!
Anything over 80 psi can damage appliances like toilets, fridges wait ice and water dispensers, washing machines, dishwashers- faucets and shower heads too.

Just a reminder, while we are all pissed off at 8 Senate Dems- every single member of Congress has been getting paid while the government is shut down. And unless I missed it, I haven't seen any of them making big donations to food banks and pantries, or working at soup kitchens >

It's that time of the year where my insulin schedule gets really messed up because of Daylight Savings Time. Sorty acting isn't an issue since I only take that when I eat or to cover hyperglycemia. But my long acting schedule, because I take a split dose- gets to be a real PITA for a week

On our way over to the apartment complex a few miles away. A lot of the people who we taught how to grow crops for the community garden project live there. Lower income working families, households with disabled children or adults on fixed incomes.
