Two and a half weeks to design and pull together all the costumes for a Fantasy-Medieval vertical drama followed by an intense 10 day shoot in 3 different historical locations? No problem ✌🏽*

I am very much *not* excited about Universal's apparent #TheMummy sequel.

I think a lot about the chance we had at the start of COVID to finally become a more compassionate, collectivist nation, and how profoundly we were failed not only by the sociopathic greed of the ruling class but by each other.
It doesn’t mean we won’t get there, but the lost opportunity haunts me.

That the murder of Brianna Ghey has been so completely co-opted by the "ban kids from using phones" brigade sickens me to my fucking core. Whatever her killers were looking at it's undeniable that the landslide of transphobic propaganda in the media played a crucial role in their choice of victim.

One of the recurrent themes in Greta's testimony is soldiers stripping and photographing her, sexual humiliation being an out in the open policy of the IDF for years, particularly since Oct 7th. Israel torturing and sexially assaulting a bunch of foreigners should be the biggest story in the world.
