Aside from Musk using it as a weapon (i.e. withholding it from Ukraine once they become reliant on it), there is the added factor of cybersecurity.
Who would trust Musk?
Exactly the same in Australia.
Regardless of which party is in power.
This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

The mood in Sydney today. Crashing thunder, hail more than rain and collapsed trees but these things do not deter XR, Drum Rebellion, Knitting Nannas and Bob Brown Foundation. They added to the “wind” near NSW Parliament House today.

A stupid and unjust entangling of policing and welfare.

The Albanese govt should put their time and effort into things that would make a real difference:
fixing the ineffective job provider scheme, and getting rid of the cruel and counterproductive 'mutual obligation' system. #poverty #auspol

Two children have been killed every day in Gaza since the so-called ceasefire began.

Why has this disappeared from the headlines?

The genocide never ended — and our government is still complicit.

End all arms sales to Israel, now.

42 million people.
I can't even conceive of a city with so many people.
How do they handle the food and waste requirements?
Boggles the mind.
Also a worry - one brake in the supply/waste chain and it could all fall in a heap.
Jakarta is now the world's largest city dwarfing Australia's entire population
For decades Tokyo held the title of the most populous city on the planet. Yet the Indonesian and Bangladeshi capitals have overtaken the Japanese megacity.
