This is a BWC incident and parts of this incident were reviewed prior to this report.
This is a supplemental report that should be read in conjunction with all other reports related to Berwyn Incident Report #24-10341 for a complete and accurate account of the incident.
This report is written in summary, not verbatim.
On the above date I was informed that Nicholas Fuentes was in the lobby of the police department. I met with Fuentes at 1903 hours escorted him into a secure, non-public area where we traveled to the booking area. Fuentes was searched for weapons and seated on a bench. Fuentes was fingerprinted for positive identification and processed on the following:
One (1) Class A Misdemeanor (Signed by Marla Rose):
720 ILCS 5/12-3(a)(2)
Battery
Fuentes signed a citation and notice to appear which showed his court date of 12/19/2024 at Maybrook Court House in Room 102 at 0900 hours. Fuentes was escorted back to the publicly accessible lobby and released at approximately 1920 hours.
At approximately 1950 hours I called and spoke with Marla Rose (TX: Home or [Redacted]) and advised her of the charges and provided her with the local case information.
