So I’m very committed to critiquing elected officials, and cringe at cults of personality and all that leftist jazz— but is Zohran, like, a sorcerer?

Holy hell is it *ever* time for "Economic Crimes Against Humanity" to become something we start convicting people of.

We can start by convicting Brian Thompson posthumously. That f**ker sent so many people to an early grave.

Then we can go after the rest.
The crime of genocide didn't exist until after WW2. It was something we decided was real, needed to be identified and punished. Even if we've been spectacularly bad at putting it in practise, we conceptualised it.

I think it's about time for a CEO crime of murder-by-Economy.

i hate to be a downer, but the recent and sudden flip flop on the release of the files is almost certainly due to enough time having passed to scrub them clean of the parts most damaging to the party.

the institutions that hold them are all now fully GOP controlled and beyond corrupt.

my partner is meeting up with me in Munich and I relieved to no longer be a wandering around looking at birds by myself like some kind of weirdo.

plus, it's good to have backup covering your six when watching these Arschlöcher...

Far too many engineers out there reading the literary works of the late Philip K. Dick, not as cautionary tales, but as business plans.

when i got into computer graphics, black and white dithering algorithms where new.

the ease at which a layperson can manipulate the representation of reality today is mind boggling, and I think, not something we're even remotely prepared for.

It's been almost 8 tears since I've gone to a tech conference of some sort. Maybe longer. This one was just so wholesome.

Just a bunch of passionate artists and engineers talking shop for two days.

I got a lot out of it and I hope to make it back next year.

"i understood that reference"
people will be like "im not a spin lattice in a network, flowing toward lowest energy as the external field and temperature allows!" and then affectively polarize based on some stuff someone at the domain wall of their social graph says to them

Every time I go into my game library and there's a new update for one of my favorite games I get excited to pick them back up again.

I've come to realize that this is a large part of what makes them "favorite games" to begin with.

Also useful for keeping a small studio afloat.

It's #PitchYaGame time.

My [Untitled] adventure game is about travelling between worlds via mirrors and is set on an island loosely based on the Isle of Skye, Scotland.

It's got Clyde Puffer boats, distilleries, and mischievous Fae to contend with.
