Im so tired of hearing people say “this isn’t what I voted for.” Yes. Yes it is. Trump was extremely clear about tariffs. Anyone with half a fucking brain cell should have known the economic havoc this would wreak. Smartly, I pulled 95% of my money out of the stock market in February.

I remember seeing posts from people saying other countries see laughing at us when Biden was president. I didn’t engage though because it was impossible to get through to them. I wonder when they’ll begin to see the embarrassment their votes have made the US.

I’m so sad right now. I know this will sound super privileged and I don’t mean it that way. As an unemployed Single mom of 3 teens I have struggles. I just sold my entire portfolio. I couldn’t chance losing more of my retirement. I think this is only going to get worse. A lot worse.

Mexico is imposing tariffs on US goods. The tariffs will initially be at 5% to 20%. The products: pork, cheese, apples, grapes, potatoes, cranberries, bourbon, steel & aluminum. They were chosen strategically because they have a significant impact on regions that voted for Trump.

Bought a monitor for my trading station today. But that’s it. I’m done buying shit for the foreseeable future. I’ll be living lean. Costco and Trader Joe’s only. Tennis is free. Running is free. Planks and jump rope. Free and free. Stay healthy and Boycott the trump economy. That’s my plan.
