Yep. It’s pretty insane that so far he’s willing to even attempt to inflict this much pain. But will he back down again? Or will he just lessen the tariffs to 10–15%? Wondering if anyone is behind him on this besides his border czar.

Overall I think we’ll see some decent sell off over coming days as news from Mexico and Canada takes hold and until we see how China reacts as well as if trump holds his stance and even expands his policy to Europe as he’s threatened.

I cannot predict the future and the market always recovers. But if I were a betting woman (and I am) my money is on a decent dip over the coming days, yes. Rump may reverse after pressure like he has on other policy. But he’s unpredictable. He may hold the line on this.

This feels like the right move for me at this time. Yours may be different. I will be up at 4AM to make sure orders go through since 24/7 orders can move stocks below limit orders skipping them altogether once premarket trading starts at 4AM.
