Amid the excoriation from Democratic activists, House members, and other Governors at Senate Democrats for caving in on the shutdown, the lack of resistance and drag on the Party by newly-elected Va Governor Abigail Spanberger has been overlooked. Why did she defect?

More facilitation of public corruption by Trump, which is largely underreported.
Trump removed the acting watchdog for the Federal Housing Finance Agency last week, one of several recent removals of acting inspectors general.

🚨So you're probably wondering, or should be wondering: how do Senate Democrats remove the spectacularly unfit Schumer as Minority Leader? Turns out it is easy to do - at any time!

In no way do Trump's numbers add up. Under Trump the deficit is exploding, and his tariff-taxes while dragging down the economy are a trickle compared to the tax breaks he has bestowed upon the billionaire class.

Not one Democratic Senator has called for Schumer to step aside. Zero of them. Only 24 of them are needed to force a change, but none have stepped forward to be the first to call for it. It is left to Party activists and House Democrats to push the issue.

So Democrats agreed to allow Republican Senators to sue for money damages because their actions facilitating the January 6 insurrection were investigated (albeit tardily).
Buried inside the deal to reopen government is a provision that would give Senators private right of action to sue for millions in damages over their phone records being analyzed by Jack Smith's team.

The even more fraudulent thing - or as fraudulent - is that not a single reporter on legacy media or drawing a salary to roam the halls of Congress every day has ever asked them why they allow this. Not one of them discussed it today. Thus most Americans have no idea that every Dem is rolling over.
They did. My god. They are fast tracking the vote.
Every single one of them.

Chris Jansing presses Sen Mark Kelly at length on the Democratic strategy, or lack thereof, of resisting Trump for 40 days only to cave in for nothing. He filibusters at length, refusing to put forth a position critical of Democratic defectors or Schumer. Sounds like he supports the cave in.

The same media that feverishly pushed the Biden must drop out narrative with relentless vigor is now showing up on legacy platforms to downplay any threat to Schumer's leadership. Jake Sherman appeared on MSNBC to pooh-pooh panelist and activist demands that Schumer relinquish leadership.

Oath Keepers leader interprets his pardon as marching order from Trump to re-start paramilitary activity in support of Trump, even where it violates the Constitution.

Still have not seen the media reporting address how pardoning those charged with or convicted of state crimes will have, or can not have, any legal effect.
At first glance, it looks like Trump's latest pardon list includes nine of the names on my old "Garland DOJ Criminal Indictment Checklist." Spoiler: None of these nine individuals were ever prosecuted by Merrick Neville Chamberlain Garland's DOJ.

Where is the reporting on Schumer's negotiations with the 8 Democrats who defected and formed the Quisling Caucus, and on other Dems who refuse to call out those defectors?
Where is the reporting on sentiment, or lack thereof, to replace Senate leadership, instead of enabling self-serving leaks?

Just 24 Senate Democrats are needed to vote in new Democratic leadership. Those who oppose such a vote, or refuse to oppose Schumer will be marked as complicit in this giveaway to Trump. Senate Democrats who refuse to call out defectors will also be marked as complicit in the march to dictatorship.

Any one Senate Democrat can still delay the procedural votes necessary to get this cave-in formally written into law. Which one will it be?
Already hearing at least one nominal opposing Democrat - Hickenlooper - saying his no vote is merely performative, he understands why Dems capitulated.

In theory this deal is days away from getting out of the senate unless they all agree to unanimous consent.
So this isn't over yet.
Just don't send the senators any fucking thank yous for standing strong if you are calling them. My god.

Preaching to the choir though. Call out and debate Shaheen and Durbin and Kaine and the rest of the Quisling Caucus who defected. Otherwise this is ineffective.
I’ve voted 7 times to reopen the government in a way that holds Trump accountable for his lawlessness and prevents a health care crisis.
I’m prepared to work toward a compromise, but this “deal” before us does not come close to meeting those terms. Voting NO.

Mucho double-speak here from Cavin' Tim Kaine.
He claims the vote "guarantees" a vote (only if Repubs don't back out) only on whether to extend ACA credits. No guaranteed outcome which Dems could get by staying unified.
Nor does this protect federal workers from more illegal firings.
