Just a reminder, if you see these DOGE signs around town, to remove them as they are fake and covering the real parking sign. This was removed yesterday at 6th and M Street NE by some locals.

Progressives help me understand. I love Booker’s act as a symbolic gesture, but I’m having a hard time seeing it as saying more than another example of democrats putting symbol over substance, messaging over message. Why not do this at RFK’s senate confirmation? Or during budget voting?

I, for one, welcome the “abundance” fight. It shows the left can fight Trumpism while wrestling with how we can be better than we’ve been.

I have no interest in “actually the government has been doing great” liberalism.

This erasure of trans people from official history—when people like Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson were key forces in the fight for gay liberation—is despicable.

This is an attempt to divide the queer community, and we can't stand for it.
I've been able to brush off most of the erasure of trans people from government websites, but this one is REALLY getting under my skin. It's just complete revisionist history.

How fucking dare they
